Meet the Team

Jose and Linda Garcia

Jose and Linda Garcia

LEAD PASTORS

God started working in Jose and Linda’s life when He took the pieces of a crumbling relationship and formed a new and stronger marriage.

Linda and Jose have attended My Father’s House since service first started. They were one of the first families to join and have served with all their hearts.

Apart from leading the church, they enjoy grilling and going out on Lake Michigan. Their two boys are Angel and Hugo, and their youngest is their daughter Ava.

Rev. Rita Loyola

PASTOR OF DISCIPLESHIP

Rita Loyola was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she resided before immigrating with her family to Southern California at the age of 11. She has been involved in outreach; evangelism, church planting, and pastoring since the age of 19, helping local churches grow by utilizing her gifts for the Kingdom.

Rita’s trajectory brought her to Michigan to pursue an MDiv. from WTS, where she graduated with a Master of Divinity and a Graduate Certificate in Pastoral Ministries (GCPM) through the Hispanic Program at the same institution. Rita is currently a student in the Doctor of Ministry program in the field of Pastor-Teólogo (Pastor-Theologian) at WTS to be a better servant-leader through a deepened understanding of ethnic diversity within the body of Christ.

While Reverend Loyola has been actively involved in our church for years, we are glad that she officially joined us in 2022

Angel Garcia

Angel Garcia

MEDIA/ A/V TECHNOLOGY DIRECTOR

Angel is Jose and Linda’s oldest son. When he found out he was going to become a PK in 2019, he took on the role with enthusiasm. Angel has since been involved with YWAM (Youth With a Mission) in Texas, and soon began learning how to manage the audio/visuals for La Casa’s service. He is also the wonderful face behind the camera taking photos and updating our social media.

Along with working at church, he loves to play music, drink coffee, and explore new things.

Erick Ibarra

WORSHIP DIRECTOR

Erick has been attending La Casa since it was just a year old in 2012. He has been running sound for many years, and the Lord recently called him into his comfort zone to start leading worship. (He was born for this, he says.)

During the work week, Erick works in IT. When not fixing computers or helping at La Casa, he likes to cook, travel, and share funny GIFs with his wife, Leslie.

Leslie and Erick met at La Casa in 2017 and were married in 2019. They welcomed their first daughter into their family in May. Now none of them get any sleep.

Leslie Ibarra

Leslie Ibarra

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Since joining La Casa in 2016, Leslie has slowly become more and more involved with the worship team, first playing the piano, then singing during worship, and ultimately, marrying the sound technician.

After Leslie and Erick’s daughter was born in May, Leslie left her job as a middle school English teacher to be a mostly stay-at-home mom. She also works part time as the office administrator at La Casa.

When she’s not rocking her daughter to sleep, Leslie enjoys hiking, reading, and laughing at the GIFs her husband sends her.

Since starting to attend My Father’s House Church a year ago, Zulema has served regularly at leadership meetings, in the sound booth, and by translating during service. She loves God, spending time with family, and traveling.

Zulema loves children, and has a heart to serve for these young ones and for our future. To make an impact on their lives.

Outside of work, Zulema loves spending time with her new granddaughter — sometimes even bringing her along to church leadership meetings!

He is always open to serve our congregation in any way possible.
